![]() ![]() The first missions are brutal, and i don't think the different management systems / mechanics are well explained (and i say this as someone who played the first game), which led the Assassin Chosen to almost achieve full development on my playthrough (fortunately for me, i was able to track her down in time, beat her, and after that i just steamrolled the others). I just beat the game with the WOTC expansion (but without the dlc missions) for the first time and damn, i played 52h in 8 days (i began to play the game some hours before the OP created this thread). On a more positive note, they can be apparently completed at any moment and the unlocks become available even on an ongoing campaign, without any need to start from zero. So maybe leave them for future playthroughs or more in general try them only if you are confident in your understanding of the mechanics. The tough part of it for a newbie, which I forgot to mention at first, is that while not exceedingly tough, these are basically "Ironman" mini-campaigns, given that they auto-save at every turn and don't let you reload anything (only quit and jump back where you left). The other mini-campaigns unlock other cosmetic stuff (alternative armors and helmet skins, new "attitudes" to customize soldiers). I went and checked and it turns out that the only mini-campaign from the "Tactical Legacy Pack" one needs to complete to unlock these sweet, sweet weapons is the first one, "Blast from the Past".Īny completion rate (even just Bronze) is enough to unlock them.
